Phases
  1. Phase 1

    For a better judgment of each race, the judge first analyzes the specimens divided by classes:

    • Puppy Class – dogs from six months and one day to nine months of age. Compete for the title of Puppy Champion;
    • Young Class – dogs from nine months and one day to fifteen months. Compete for the title of Young Champion;
    • Open Class – intended for dogs over fifteen months old, except for Brazilian Beauty Champions and Grand Champions, who are over fifteen months old on the exhibition date. In this class, Beauty Champions from other countries and International Champions who want to compete in CAC can be registered. CACIB competes;
    • Championship Class – dogs that already have the title of a champion;
    • Grand Championship Class – dogs that already have the title of a grand champion;
    • Veteran Class – dogs over eight years old.

    The best females of each class will be chosen, and they will compete to select the best female of the breed. The same thing is done with the males of the breed. The best of the breed is then chosen between the best female and the best male, which will enable the winning dog to compete with other winning dogs in its respective group.

  2. Phase 2

    The race winners will compete, within their group, for the four best dogs in this group. The winning dog of 1st place in the group will be able to compete with the other winners of the other groups for the title of Best in Show. The 11 best dogs from their respective groups will compete in a final for the coveted title of Best in Show.

  3. Phase 3

    It is the most awaited phase by the participants and organizers as the five best of the entire exhibition will be chosen, analyzing the 11 winning dogs of Best of the Group.

    The 1st place winner will be considered the best dog in the exhibition and named BEST IN SHOW. This dog will win the biggest trophy offered at the show.
